This report aims to outline some findings in relation to education emerging from the qualitative phase of the Indicators of Poverty and Social Exclusion (IPSE) project, supplementing this information with quantitative material from South African Social Attitudes Survey (SASAS) where this is available.
The report provides a brief overview of education in South Africa and analyses the findings from the focus groups and the module in SASAS 2006, specifically on education in South Africa.
